Through volunteer work and community service, Lions are learning new things and developing leadership skills every day. Lions are doing good- for others and for themselves. Joining a local Lions club is a great way to network with other people in your community and make new friends.
We’re a network of more than 1.4 million men and women in 48,000 clubs worldwide. We help where help is needed. In over 200 countries or geographic areas, in hospitals and senior centers, in regions battered by natural disasters, Lions are at work – helping, leading, planning and supporting. Because we’re local, we can serve the unique needs of our communities. Because we’re global, we can address challenges that go beyond borders. When it comes to meeting challenges, our response is simple: We Serve. It’s something that unites Lions around the world. We help wherever, whenever and however we can.
We want to make our club and our activities more enjoyable to our members. So we coordinate cultural and social events as well. Feel free to contact us: svilionsfoundation.org@gmail.com
Imagine seeing your children starving and having nothing to feed them...820 million people around the world go hungry each year. For $34, you can provide 100 meals through 'rise against hunger' program through our charity foundation. You will be provided 501 c3 tax deductible receipts for your donation within 30 days.
Meal Packaging:
The assembly process combines rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a micronutrient flavoring mix formulated by Kraft Heinz Company Foundation that includes 20 essential vitamins and minerals. The cost of each meal is typically 34 cents. The food has a shelf-life of two years. Rise Against Hunger provides over 70% of its meals to support transformational development programs such as school lunch programs, vocational training programs, early childhood development programs, orphanages, and medical clinics. Working with these programs helps enhance lives by giving beneficiaries the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty through education, skills development, and healthcare while also receiving much-needed nutrition
